An empty airport, a lot of time and you

Spotted via BoingBoing....  and it's not exactly The Terminal, but if you ever asked what you would do if trapped out at the Pittsburgh Airport all night.  Here is someone's answer during Snomageddon. 

My question is, would you really need to wait until after hours to film that?  Some of those concourses are pretty empty all day long.  I once asked for ideas to give the airport on what to do with the underutilized space.  I say fill one of the gates up with buoyancy neutral helium balloons for a big interactive art display.  Call it the Warhol Museum West or something.  Seriously, there ought to be some creative uses for some of that space out there.
