Gosh-darned well-educated, well-paid, young whippersnappers are driving up our housing prices! Rent of primary residence was up 4.8%, owners' equivalent rent of primary residence up 4.3%.
Also up big: alcoholic beverages at 6.2%, and recreation at 4.7%. Again, I detect a "yuppie effect".
