consolidation then, consolidation now
On local government. In the spring I had a blog post drafted about this news item about the good folks in Louisville and Lexington planning to come visit us later this year, but I don't think I ever published it. I was reminded when a loyal NS reader pointed out this news item from WDUQ following the same story recently.
It's interesting in that there have been more than a few trips down to Louisville to see how their process of governmental consolidation has progressed. For them to come looking at our perpetually arrested process is curious.
