Does this mean we are really cool?

CNN has a story on the backlash against bottle water.  It's just not cool they say.  I pointed out last week a recent ranking out there that shows Pittsburgh as one of the least bottled-water-friendly places in the US.

CNN's foil is the release of a film: The Story of Bottled Water.

Excellent vid. All someone needs to do is teach that nice lady some less off-putting hand gestures.

Really? I thought she fell into the all too common enviro trap of sanctimony. Too bad the movement can't learn from the marketing efforts she mocks.

Reminds me about something I read this week that the green movement didn't take off until Americans figured out how to commercialize it.

That said, I have some beautiful heavy duty deck furniture made from recycled plastic bottles that survived the winter with flying colors.

That film is 8 minutes long. I'm guessing the intersection set of those who are willing to watch an 8 minute envirnomental film and those who still drink bottled water is very small.

Yes Bram: "hand them a sandwich."

Although tapwater is a clear favorite among the 'business up front' yinzer mullets, I suspect hosewater is quite popular for the 'party in the back' types.

"Carrying bottled water is on its way to being as cool as smoking while pregnant."

Guess that means bottled water is about to hit it big in Pittsburgh, then?
