Reliquum est, silentium

I kind of wonder about that Pittsburgh super commuter. Aside from an absurd mortgage or having just bought in the past year or two, I don't see how you could be far enough underwater on a house in Pittsburgh to make that commute worth while. Most of the places with pricier houses have not seen drops in prices and in most of the places with drops in prices, the absolute amount of the decline wouldn't be enough to cover the cost of that commute for long if you figure your time has any worth. There are plenty of reasons for not wanting to move to New Jersey and plenty of other reasons for not giving your true reason for not moving in a newspaper, but the housing thing doesn't seem at all likely.
