Most Underrated Cities

I guess if we had a B&N downtown, like number one Baltimore does, or at least a book store in the city's most literate neighborhood, we'd be higher on the list.

Are they kidding with this crap? I'm tired of these gushing reviews written by people who clearly never set foot in Pittsburgh, or at least not very far into it. The South Side has a monopoly on used books now? I'll be sure to let Caliban in Oakland know. Yet the South Side was shafted when it came to (sizzling? Seriously?) nightlife for...wait for it...the Strip District! The Bermuda Triangle of clubs. But my all-time favorite is the nocturnal bustle provided by the "thousands of college students" from CARNEGIE MELLON. Hey, forget that it's about 1/3 the size of Pitt. Goodness knows what rollicking fun computer engineers with barely passable English are. Maybe that's why they call the 61C the Party Bus.
