Cleveburgh evermore

The echo of this has been interestring.  Note the Cleveburgh rerun in the Youngstown Vindicator today
If there are Pittsburghers who do not quite appreciate the idea yet, this may help.  Many have seen this making the rounds in last few weeks, but it was a Cleveland attorney who wrote what may be the best letter ever written by a lawyer.  Apologies for the language.  Gotta give some points to a city that could produce that and allow it to be postmarked.  CC to Art Modell no less.

Just compare that to the dense two page letter some other poor lawyer most likely felt obliged to write on the topic of the best license plate ever.

Saw the Vindy article...unfortunately, they didn't show the diagram of the "metro" area or the comparison to the Chicago metro area that was in the PG.

Did the Plain Dealer run it yet?

Will be interesting to hear the response from the various areas.

Here is a local response: How would it benefit Pittsburgh to join forces with Cleveland. Why not include Detroit?

Where were they when the steel industry fell apart?

I thought the PD version was going to run on Sunday, but it looks like it didn't. Editors' priorities are necessarily dynamic. Maybe they will run it, or maybe the moment has passed for now?

Wonderful article. Makes me think of how fluid regionalism is. The kicker is that I can't get "Greater Youngstown" out of my head -- much more euphonious than Cleveburgh.
