'Bout time somebody from a mainstream national media outlet pointed out some of the fundamental changes that have happened in the Pittsburgh area in recent years. Hell, if it's reiterated enough on a national platform, then maybe someday fans of other teams will a) learn the difference between a "bandwagon" and a "diaspora," and b) spare us the nonsense about how people "can't wait to get the hell out of that shithole" because they realize that whatever mass exodus there was out of the Pittsburgh area ended about 20 years ago. We can only hope.
