and today we learn...: Zagat rankings coming to Pittsburgh  !!

So there you go.  If not for the cupcakes, where would we be? 

Isn't that more interesting than say a post about assessments, or redistricting.

Yes, Zagat didn't even try. Six chains top their list, including ... Cheesecake Factory! In short, Zagat insulted Pittsburgh, for whatever reason.

The deal, apparently, is that Zagat applied their National Chain rankings to the national chains present in Pittsburgh, and then released that to generate buzz and, evidently, outrage. The actual rankings of Pittsburgh restaurants are in process.
